I am a photojournalist living in a small midwestern town who strives to better his community through visual storytelling. It is a privilege to be welcomed
into the lives of my neighbors to share their stories.
Although it is a very rewarding job, stories can be difficult to tell at times. In those instances of emotional, tense, or scary situations I try and remind myself
that these are usually the most important issues to our community.
There is a great responsibility as a journalist to be a source of information and change, especially in a community that values seeing your work at a newsstand
or online.
That is what I am about.
